Trump appoints net neutrality opponents to transition team
President-elect Donald Trump has appointed some FCC critics to his transition team.
So what does this mean?
Net neutrality rules (an now law) states that your ISP cannot charge you more depending on the sites that you visit. Google’s definition is “the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites.”
Last year it was agree by majority that the internet was and should remain open for everyone regardless of content, with Google and Facebook backing the idea of net neutrality.
Next, year, we are not so sure what might happen.

Microsoft recently announced their Surface Book i7, and here’s a small summary for those wanting to know what the hype is all about.
The Surface Book i7 has :
- a 13.5″ Pixelsense screen
- an Intel dual-core 6th-gen Skylake Core i7-6600U CPU
- 8GB or 16GB LPDDR3 RAM
- a 256GB to 1TB (optional) SSD
- an Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M, which contains 2GB of GDDR5 RAM
It also has one of the best battery lifespans in the modern convertible laptop world. This, combined with cutting edge graphics for a convertible this size, is sure to be a contender for some time to come. Price tag starts at a steep $3300 dollars.

Microsoft Surface Studio is here!
Microsoft has unveiled the new Surface Studio, touting a 28″ screen “Pixelsense” screen – which is higher than 4K resolution.
The Surface Studio also boasts an i5 (or i7, optionally) processor, up to 4 GB of memory on an NVIDIA GeForce GPU, and up to a whopping 32 GB of RAM.
This looks like a computer heavily targeted towards MAC users, as well as artists and designers.
Price starts at $2,999 and they will start shipping in early 2017.

Powershell is Now Available on Linux and Mac OSX!!
In a move that will most benefit developers, Microsoft has made powershell and the .NET framework, as well as the .NET core (which is used to build Powershell), available on Linux and OSX.
